Performance Enhancement,DCNs offer rich connectivity and high bandwidth for applications. In this chapter we review the solutions to make better use of the network capacity, and enhance the performance of DCN. Fault-Tolerant Routing,formance. We introduce the taxonamy of common failures in DCNs, and review the fault-tolerance techniques. An overview of the fault-tolerance characteristics of some DCN topologies based on simulation results is also presented.
