Stabilization of Frenkel Defects in Crystals of Magnesium Oxide at Impact Displacement of Ions,The fixation of atoms or ions displaced from the nodes of the crystal lattice is an obligatory stage of accumulation of intrinsic radiation defects of a solid. At this stage, the created and spatially separated elements of Frenkel pairs are transformed into color centers that are stable under experimental conditions.
