Observations of the 3D distributions of thermal to near-relativistic electrons in the interplanetardistributions . .(. .) often are plateaued or slightly unstable, with ., implying growth rates of . ∼0.03 s.. Most of the time, however, the reduced distributions are stable, with negative slopes, suggesting that other competing wave processes such as whistler growth may be stabilizing the beam.

Prospects for the solar radio telescope,be done with a solar-dedicated radio synthesis telescope, and to discuss the design constraints imposed by the science envisioned. Diagnostics of energy release in the X-ray corona,ent results of X-ray bright-points, transient brightenings and jets are reviewed, and diagnostics that result from bulk plasma motions are discussed.
