Absolute Spectrophotometry of F-, G-, K-, and M-Type Starssured with theoretical energy distributions. Quantitative classification criteria are derived from measured line and band strengths. At the resolution of our measurements, mildly peculiar stars cannot be easily distinguished from normal stars.

Systems Approach to Warranty Management,of different atmospheric layers, and a new photometric system for the monitoring of carbon stars (miras, SRabc, Lbc, RCB, HdC, CH, strong-CN,…) is proposed. The flux variations recorded by well-suited filters are the ground-based material for hydrodynamical investigations of these stars.

D.N. Prabhakar Murthy,Wallace R. Blischkeand the “Catalogue of Central Stars of Planetary Nebulae” (Acker, Gleizes et al, 1982), the caracteristics of these peculiar stars have been compared. The intensive spectrographic study undertaken by F. Gleizes (1984) for about 40 nuclei has also been used.

More than 650 stars are presently candidates for this volume, and the relative frequency of the individual spectral groups is given in Table I with reference to the Catalogue of Stellar Groups.

Late R stars (R5–R8) show spectra like late K or early M stars except that lines from low levels of excitation are stronger. Ultraviolet spectra of S stars show a wide variation in the strength of Mg II lines.
