Valproic Acid and Pregnancyer medically stable Juvenile Myoclonic Epilepsy. She has not had any seizure recurrences in the past year. Would you lower valproic acid; discontinue it or switch to another seizure medication during her current pregnancy? If you would switch her seizure medication, what would you switch to and how do you manage her epilepsy during this pregnancy?
