The large standard deviations of the data of longitude differences show the existence of external systematic errors in time observations.

On the Secular Motion of the Mean Poler for Ukiah were derived. Subtracting the apparent motion of the mean pole due to the local drifts, the secular motion of the mean pole is 0′.00220/year in the direction 77 °.7 W and this seems to be the real one.

Mouvement Séculaire du Pôle et la Variation des Latitudes des Stations du SILpour sa direction celle de 70°W. La latitude de Mi-zusawa a diminué de 0”L.003 par an et celle d’ ;Ukiah a augmenté de la même quantité par an pendant la période étudiée. Cela confirme la théorie géologique indiquant la rotation des côtes du Pacifique dans le sens contre celui des aiguilles d’une montre.
