Homeworking in South KoreaThose who are familiar with poor areas in Korean cities have noticed that women are involved in various forms of income-earning activities, mainly in the poorly-paid, informal sector. In particular, a substantial portion of the married women labour force is shown to be subject to homeworking, a paid work carried out in the home.
