Effect of field size on the colour evoked potentials and the electroretinogramWe have recorded colour evoked visual potentials (N87) and electroretino-grams (P60) with the stimulus diameter varied between 2° and 10°. VEPs tend to saturate at about 6°, while ERGs continue to increase in amplitude up to 10°. This different behavior is interpreted as a correlate of the cortical magnification of foveal vision.
