Following the lines indicated above a qualitative discussion of the most important mixing processes is presented. Conclusions are put forward concerning needs for future research.召集 发表于 2025-3-27 01:44:44

Mangroves may also influence the primary productivity of coastal waters by controlling the fate of dissolved nutrients and suspended sediments. Mangroves are considered a source of organic detritus yet a nutrient sink, contributing to the confusion of their role in coastal proc青春期 发表于 2025-3-27 05:41:04

In the other extreme, when these nutrient concentrations are very high such as in highly populated European river basins, downstream plant biomass can increase, perhaps intensifying natural anoxia cycles within the receiving estuarine/coastal ocean wMilitia 发表于 2025-3-27 12:07:35

Teaching English as a Third Languagelable on mass balance studies in fjordic systems is assessed in terms of nitrogen and carbon budgets and used comparatively to assess the effects of latitude, stagnation and salinity on general energy flow through such systems. Some general conclusions as to the net imports and exports of energy to fjords are drawn.
