Phenomenological Nonlinear RET with 6 Fieldse ET. theory, in particular, the dynamic pressure. We study the monatomic-gas limit where the system of ET. converges to the Euler system of a perfect fluid. Lastly the nature of dynamic pressure is discussed in the case of rarefied polyatomic gas.

Nonlinear ET, Theory with Molecular Rotational and Vibrational Modese different types of the production term in the system, which are studied in Chap. . on the basis of the generalized BGK model for the collision term in the Boltzmann equation, are also adopted. Some characteristic features of the ET. theory are discussed.
