Expressed and Nonexpressed Portions of the Genome: Their Separation and their Characterization is not transcribed into RNA. What is the nature and structure of that portion of the genome which is transcribed? Several methods for separation of transcribed from non-transcribed portions of the genome have been described. Some of these are commented upon below.
