Direct Conversion of Syn Gas to Oxygenates,cond involves methanol synthesis and subsequent reactions of methanol with carbon monoxide or syn gas. In this chapter we shall discuss a third approach, namely the direct conversion of syn gas to C. and higher oxygenates.
