Neutron and x-ray scattering study on K0.3MoO3 and other quasi one dimensional conductors, K.MoO. may be understood by a band picture. The behavior of the transition in (NbSe.).I cannot be considered simply as the one of the band electrons. The magnetic susceptibility of the compound Mo.O. seems to be a unique example of the behavior predicted by Lee et al. for the fluctuation of one dimensional conductors

These measurements clearly demonstrate that the proposed phase diagram is incorrect. As a result the phasings of the C.D.W. discussed by Wilson and Vincent must be questioned.
