A Brief History of the Molina Family, and the Birth of Maderas Rainforest Conservancy at the La Suesists of two forested volcanoes, Volcán Concepción and Volcán Maderas, from which MRC gets its name. Ometepe Island itself is very important ecologically, and on June 5, 2010, it was declared a biosphere status by the United Nations Educational, Scientific, and Cultural Organization (UNESCO).

Springer Proceedings in Materialsot so surprising then that the human body consists of c. 60 % of water too. Water is simply an inherent part of our system, and of the evolution of life. This is seen explicitly in Central America, in the land- and seascapes and its atmosphere. It is all deeply connected through water cycles. Water troubles are human troubles, and beyond.

Numerical Modeling and Experimentation. This opens up many new viewpoints and has many applications and hypotheses. One of those applications is that it allows us to set conservation priorities for these precious reef ecosystems, and model-predict them for a forecast.
