The Distribution of Catecholamines in Vertebrates,e are based on a minimum of experimental evidence and some are conflicting in their observations. N-methyl adrenaline (Axelrod, 1960) and N-methyldopamine (epinine) (Märki et al., 1962) have also been extracted from vertebrate tissues or body fluids.
