Los Angeles and the West Coast,l hall. Our hotel room was directly over the pool hall. This pool hall job was just a temporary job, and since our rent was paid for four weeks we went on out to look for other and better jobs. I didn’t have my trumpet as I had left that at home: I sure couldn’t hobo with a trumpet in my hand. So we looked for other jobs.
