Rob Dekkers,Lindsey Carey,Peter Langhornelue measured during SWADE (Weller, et. al, 1991) with the wind speed up to 15 m/s and gusts to 18 m/s is about 60%. The duration for the void fraction event is about, on average, 0.5 sec at the depth of 12″ for the average wave period of about 5.5 sec. Much less void fraction is observed below 24″.
