Towards an Auditory Attention BCI,chanism for communication purposes have not yet been described. In this study, we explore this possibility by implementing a BCI2000-based real-time system that uses ECoG signals to identify the attended speaker.

The Changing Brain: Bidirectional Learning Between Algorithm and User, hile attention shifts result in a more global increase in signal variability. With the results presented, we are working towards an adaptive brain–computer interface where bidirectional learning (either user or algorithm) is possible.

Heterogeneous BCI-Triggered Functional Electrical Stimulation Intervention for the Upper-Limb Rehabiological changes in the central nervous system are expected to induce functional improvement. This chapter presents a series of studies regarding processing algorithms to detect motor intentionality and a neuromodulation paradigm to improve the upper-limb functionality. The experiments were developed and tested with stroke patients.

Several different groups have helped severely disabled users communicate with BCIs, and BCI technology is also being extended to facilitate recover
