Histological Patterns in Germ Cell TumorsTwo patients, who had a recurrence of a germ cell tumor are presented. In both cases, the first diagnosis was a benign teratoma; however, the second neuropathological diagnosis was: germinoma. This changing histological pattern of germ cell tumors is considered as a pitfall in the diagnosis and a difficulty in planning the treatment.
