A Case Study of Saltwater Intrusion in a Long and Thin AquiferSaltwater intrusion in a long and thin leaky aquifer has been modelled using linear boundary elements. Special features which had to be dealt with in the computational model include quasi-singularities, transition from semipervious layer to outflow face and two unknown fluxes at the interface tip.

,Optimizing Power @ Design Time – Memory, scribed. This procedure is shown to have the ability of excluding the potential region from the solution domain and to computing individually the various viscous zones that co-exist in the overall flow. The use of this procedure in the computation of various types of viscous flows is reviewed.

Thomas K. Callaway,Earl E. Swartzlander Jr.the Completed Double Layer Boundary Integral Method (CDL-BIEM) by Kim and Karrila . It uses an iterative solver and therefore can accommodate a large number of particles with complex geometries. Convergence of the method is significantly improved by the introduction of domain decomposition to sol

Here a two-dimensional model is considered. A Boundary Element Method . is applied to solve the governing Stokes creeping flow equations

Thomas K. Callaway,Earl E. Swartzlander Jr.ns. These methods include numerical quadrature, analytic evaluation, and regularization. The numerical quadrature methods have met with only limited success. The analytic evaluation methods can be prohibitive in terms of the amount of algebra required in their derivation and are limited primarily to
