When checking the literature on this special subject, there was a gap in West-Mediterranean fungal floras as far as the region of the Pityusic Islands is concerned. So this contribution will be an attempt to fill this hiatus.

Bees and wasps on Eivissa: faunistic notes on Hymenoptera Aculeataymenopterous fauna, does not exist. Such is the case with the Balearic Islands, other insect groups being much better known than the Hymenoptera and moreover most of the existing data refer to Mallorca, whilst the Pityusics are highly underrepresented.
