The receptor response under investigation is the one which is elicited from the rod-dominated eye of the albino rat. We picked this rod response because the visual pigment of rods, rhodopsin, can readily be obtained and studied ..insurgent 发表于 2025-3-23 16:11:42

Temperature Dependence of Slow Thermal Reactions during the Bleaching of Rhodopsin in the Frog Retinsors, on the other hand, decay slowly. The kinetics of these slow reactions have recently been studied in the frog retina (1) where two parallel pathways for the decay of MII were demonstrated. Rate constants at 21.C were determined for these two reactions, for the decay of metarhodopsin III (MIII) and for the reduction of all-trans-retinal.古代 发表于 2025-3-24 18:35:59
