Relay Node Positioning in Wireless Sensor Networks by Means of Evolutionary Techniquesge energy consumption and average coverage. For this purpose, we use two multi-objective evolutionary algorithms: NSGA-II and SPEA-2. We have statistically proven that this method allows us to increase the energy efficiency substantially and NSGA-II provides better results than SPEA-2.
