Surgical management involves gastrocnemius recession, and traditionally this has been performed through an open approach. Endoscopic gastrocnemius recession allows this procedure to be performed adequately and safely without the need for a larger open approach.

Posterior Approach for Osteochondral Lesions of the Talus,Osteochondral lesions of the talus (OLT) can often be managed with arthroscopic techniques. In many cases these lesions can be posterior and difficult to treat with an anterior arthroscopic approach. Posterior arthroscopy allows surgeons to adequately treat these lesions.
