Introduction: Collecting Art,Studying and writing about the legal regulation of art collections is a really very interesting and not at all easy or simple work. It absolutely needs an inter- or multidisciplinary approach. Law, of course, but also art history, sociology, and economy are intervening. A perfect field for comparative law research, that is!
