Evaluation of Regional I4.0 Readiness: Data Analysis and Composite Indicator Development, be used to rank the NUTS 2 regions according to their I4.0 readiness. The comparison of the results with economic indicators and innovation and competitiveness describing indicators shows closely 0.7 correlation, which underlines the need for I4.0-focused regional development.
