In these preliminary surveys, 37 species of Naididae and Tubificidae were determined, far more than the few “easily identifiable” species normally identified from such surveys. Eric Bodden,Michael Felderer,Ina Schaeferes has been detected in the two species. . specimens living in different caves, show some differences in the body wall muscle thickness and in the structure of the ventral nerve cord. A correlation with their different life styles is proposed.
