Erratum to: Zoologische Beobachtungen,a first implementation, and provides some preliminary results obtained on well-known benchmark problems. The proposed method is compared to other ant, as well as non-ant methods for continuous optimization.

An Empirical Analysis of Multiple Objective Ant Colony Optimization Algorithms for the Bi-criteria Tc. In this contribution, the existing algorithms of this kind are reviewed and experimentally tested in several instances of the bi-objective traveling salesman problem, comparing their performance with that of two well-known multi-objective genetic algorithms.

Improvements on Ant Routing for Sensor Networks routing has shown good performance for communication networks; in this paper, we show why the existing ant-routing algorithms do not work well for sensor networks. Three new ant-routing algorithms are proposed and performance evaluations for these algorithms on a real application are conducted on a routing simulator for sensor networks.

Gathering Multiple Robotic A(ge)nts with Limited Sensing Capabilities, a continuous-time limit of that problem, and a discrete-space discrete-time analog. Using both analysis and simulations, we show that, interestingly, the system’s global behavior in the continuous-time limit is fundamentally different from that of the discrete-time case, due to hidden “Zenoness” in it.
