If the ultra-short acting barbiturates are used and additional drug is given to achieve a longer duration of anesthesia, the pool of unmetabolized drug is expanded and the recovery period can be very prolonged.

Palgrave Studies in Economic Historyntages are especially important when working with primates but are useful for other species as well. Some combinations of these agents seem to offer great advantages in the study of the cardiovascular system.
