Allegorical Timeith perhaps a contribution to literary theory? The phenomenologist cannot properly respond to that question. Nevertheless, in a spirit of gratitude for the many gifts of literature, this paper attempts an analysis of the senses of time employed in allegories in the hopes that such analysis may be of some use to literary theory.
