The Fifties,June and July of 1950 were marked by a morbidly memorable event for the Russian scientific empire. A colloquium devoted to the problems of the physiological theory of I. P. Pavlov was held during this time in Moscow and remembered later in the history of science as the “Pavlovian session.”

The achievements of Roman Albertovich were commemorated long before his death by the establishment of a monument of him in front of the University of Kazan. His ideas remain valid today.
