The Second Army in Normandylestine after the battles around El Duda, Belhamed and Sidi Resegh in November and December 1941. One battery was sent to Burma with 7th Armoured Brigade and a replacement for it was formed. In April a new 6-pounder anti-tank battery became part of the regiment to protect the field guns from tanks.
