John Parnell,Henryk Kucha,P. Landaisoothened the implanted surface. The implanted samples exhibited improved corrosion resistance compared to base NAB alloy. The corrosion rate of Al and Ni ion-implanted NAB reduced 90% compared to the base NAB alloy. The increased corrosion resistance could be owing to the development of highly stable film on the substrate surface.
