Digital Cultural Heritage Preservationthe solution of a classical real-time problem: conditional critical regions. The first solution uses Ada83 tasking and the second one uses Ada9X protected records. Finally we will discuss the runtime support and some implementation issues for protected records on multiprocessor target systems.

A check list and a test suite are suggested as possible tools for Ada debugger evaluations. Finally, it is concluded that an Ada compiler system without a symbolic Ada debugger is not a full featured development environment.
