Communications Traffic Performance for Cellular Systems with Mixed Platform Typesperfect detection of hand-off needs are examined. Theoretical performance characteristics are obtained. These exhibit carried traffic, hand-off activity, blocking probability and forced termination probability for each platform type. Traffic Analysis of Co-Channel Interference in TDMA Personal Communications Systems: Theoretical Fraogy are new call blocking probabilities, call dropping rates, and the distribution of unusable time slots resulting from co-channel interference (a measure of reduced service capacity). Example numerical calculations illustrating this approach are presented.
