Linear and Non-linear Logic,uths. Still, when discussing earthly immortality linear logic will be mainly used, because the object of examination is the desire for continuation of personal identity. This being a unitary perspective a considerable dose of linear logic may be warranted.

Is That Really a Question??,t central for immortality to have continuous consciousness, or would we be happy just to know that the substrate of our spirit will not perish, merely be transformed? But also, if we achieve earthly immortality will we be challenging god? Will earthly immortality mean that we might lose possible eternal life with god?

Choices, Choices, our current society, with a value system informed also by death, would be deprived of that possibility. So choices will be required by society first, and then, if society chooses the immortality route, the individual must choose whether to avail her- or himself of the possibility.
