Investigation of Hydro Energy Potential and Its Challenges in Himalayan State: Uttarakhand,otential of the nation, but currently, only 12.3% is being extracted from it. This paper studies the possible causes of the scarce utilization of waterpower in the Himalayan state of Uttarakhand. It also highlights the strength and flaws of hydropower projects on the environment and its local residents.
